Nearly 100 scholars from APEC economies gathered in Guangzhou to discuss "China's Development and the Shared Future of the Asia-Pacific." Scholars pointed out that economic development is a product of win-win cooperation, and the core significance of APEC has long transcended growth itself. It is hoped that the November meeting will help build much-needed stability for this conflict-ridden and challenging world.
